GX8系列抽湿转轮是以无机纤维作为基材，含有特殊沸石的蜂窝状抽湿材料。沸石在低湿环境下吸附能力非常卓越，不仅在夏季能够除湿，在冬季还可从外气中吸附水分，也适用于冬季的加湿。并且，这种沸石比起以前的亲水性沸石来说，在低温情况下也可进行水分的吸收和释放，而且由于蜂窝状的构造重量比较轻，因此可花费更少的能量来进行除湿和加湿。另外，由于吸收快/释放的速度，可实现蜂窝状材料的小型化。
